This antenna construction resembles rod segments - each of the 7 tubes has a 'plug' on one end and a 'socket' on the other. All sections are connected with a string. At the bottom of the base section there is a spring inside the tube to tension the string. The antenna features fast and easy folding as well as unfolding.
